Customer Review: Good (but not great) case
The case is silicone rubber and is easily slipped over the PSP. I bought this case because the PSP Slim is too slim for me and it becomes quite uncomfortable trying to hold while playing for a little while (car or plane trip); I have a zippered case for storage.

This case is a good product and I would recommend it to someone who finds the Slim too slim or slippery to hold comfortably. I have a couple points of information to mention:

1. It’s hard to tell in the photo, but there is a ridge, about 1/16″ high which runs around the periphery of the PSP. This will rest against your hand below the 1st nuckle of your thumb and is different. (Nothing wrong with this, but it wasn’t readily apparent in the pics)

2. It should be more accurately called a Skin, rather than a Case. The skin is about 1/16″ thick and this makes it a little difficult to reach the nub and d-pad. This is more Sony’s fault than Boxwave’s and I don’t hold it against Box as they would have had to compromise the integrity of the skin to avoid this. The issue would be easily fixed if Sony had made the nub on the Slim replaceable (like the PSP v1)…

3. The little raised X nubs on the back of the skin are a great touch and make it easy to keep a handle on your game.

4. Boxwave has placed this skin at a good price point; It’s a great skin, but it is only injected silicone rubber and I wouldn’t pay $20 for it.
