PlayStation 3 Component Cable Customer Review: Noise
It was on sale the day I bought it. I installed it and while the image indeed looks sharper and color more alive (even for 480i, not HD), there is some sort of noise in the background, especially in dark scenes. It looks great but, that noise is very annoying. This might be on the TV (although I cannot see this noise using the standard composite interconnect) or some configuration on the PS3, so I’ll have to buy the cables that Sony sells and see if I have the same problem.

I received my cable and hooked them up to my ps3 and they work great. I haven’t had any problems and would recommend them to anyone.

I read some reviews that said that this cable & cables similar to it didn’t work with their PS2s, and that all they got were blank or black screens.
