I can barely believe the difference between the video game offers of my youth and the vast amount of superior video games, consoles, and information that is now acquirable by merely going to a store and visiting the gaming section. Seriously, the next time you are online or at a store take a look at the immense amount of products we now have available to us! In addition to that, the high-performance option of video that can be accomplished through the simple act of adding a console and video game to your television is day and night when equating earlier times and later times. Of course Nintendo was awesome in our time, but when I think back now, we had very few games available to us, a few that I remember were Bomber Man, Duck Hunt/Mario, and Tetris. Of course Duck Hunt and Mario came out as being the first game available with its blocky pixels and boxy cartridge, really, who knew that Nintendo would be the ones responsible for all we have now?!? I really don’t think that anyone could …

But for now I am going to be talking about Cooking Mama. Though this sounds like an independent game that you just play on the DS, it’s actually much more then that. Cooking Mama is the first game of its series that allows you to cook with step by step instructions, you learn on the game, but can apply them in real life. Cooking Mama is a simulation game. You will learn how to cook and prepare meals virtually, but all the skills you learn can apply to the real word. The narrator/character in the game that will tell your cooking score is Cooking Mama. Cooking Mama will give you the instructions and guidance you need to cook a successful meal. You will be scored at the end of the game, based on how you did. Speed is a virtue in this game. The faster you are, the more points you will earn. Be sure to practice each recipe before you decide to play for points. The game is played with the stylus, as well as an integrated microphone. This game requires no use of the console buttons what so e …

Customer Review: A definite improvement over the first Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
This game has a much better storyline than the first game. The overall gameplay is the same but I found it to be much more fun. And another improvement over the previous game is that it lasts much longer; you can play all day and you still won’t beat it. I gave it 4 stars because it’s impossible not to compare it to other games like Pokemon Red version, Silver version, Ruby version, Diamond version, etc. That original series wins over all other Pokemon games because of their repeatability. I think playing this game more than two times would be stretching it. But that’s ok because it takes so long to beat it once! Overall it’s a must-have for almost anyone with a DS and willing to play a kind of kiddy game.
Customer Review: Good but for kids 7+
My 7 year old son is new to the world of gaming and the DS–we got this game along with Mario Kart, and he quickly dismissed this Pokemon game and went with the Kart 100%. I think the depth of the game, and the amount of reading required is a bit much for younger kids to enjoy, but we will revisit in about a year or so. My recommendation– 7+ years old, and the player has to have attention span and ability to deal with the frustration of not being able to get out of a dungeon, etc.
