Searching for something doesn’t have to be so hard. The Pokemon Pokedex that you can download, aptly named the Pokebar because it was made by Pokebar.com, is a toolbar that installs in Internet Explorer and Firefox for the Mac, Linux, and Windows. When the installation is complete, you will see several icons with one that resembles the Pokemon Pokedex. Click on it and a drop down menu will appear. From there, you can find any pocket monster you want. Other icons in the Pokebar will transfer you to the website’s wallpapers and games pages where you can download wallpapers for your computer and play flash games. You’ll enjoy fun games such as Pokemon Puzzle Challenge, Towering Legends, Speedball and Tic-Tac-Toe and many other fun online Pokemon games. Pokemon Puzzle Challenge Pokemon Puzzle Challenge Pok mon Puzzle League builds on the simple yet challenging gameplay of Tetris Attack. Colored blocks appear from the bottom of the screen; to make them disappear, players must line up three blocks of the same color by switching any two side-by-side blocks. Players can compete against the computer via a split screen, or against a friend via the separately sold Game Link Cable. Creating chain reactions of matches will toss blocks into your opponent’s screen. The game features characters from Pok mon Gold and Pok mon Silver. Also, Pok mon Puzzle League’s battery-save feature will remember the layout and your position, should your Game Boy Color be turned of in the middle of a game.
Customer Review: Ow, My Fingers!!
This game is, to say the least, Addictive With A Capital “A”.
It might seem hard when you start playing (I know it was for me; I got stuck at one point in Easy Mode the first time around), but it becomes much much easier over time. However, I’ve had it for give or take a few years and bits of it still escape me (i.e. how to get Sentret, how to beat the thing in less than 25 seconds, etc. etc.). Oh well, I expect I’ll figure those bits out too.
One more thing: do NOT play this at night if you can’t sleep. I did this once, and for about two days afterwards, whenever I stared at the wall, I saw puzzle designs. True story.
And you will probably like this game if you like Tetris.
Customer Review: Fun, fun, fun!
Don’t be turned off by the cutesy Pokemon theme. This is “Tetris Attack” (from the SNES), but with lots of extra modes. The creators took advantage of the Pokemon world to create some neat challenge modes. This game is extremely addictive. I recommend playing this on a Gameboy Advance SP so that you’ll have a lighted screen. If not, you may have some eye strain trying to see the small blocks.
