These Ethernet cables are worth it for the price. I stick to a wired network, so I have these green cords running all over the upstairs. What’s interesting is that it’s not a single 50′ cable, but instead two 25′ cables and an generic green inline connector. Very useful.

Ordered one of these to connect a Harman/Kardon DVD38 upconvert player to a Panasonic 50 plasma. I purchased an overpriced HDMI cable when I bought the t.v. a few weeks ago, but never let the Monster out of the bag! After 2 movies & a little HD programming with this cable, here are some initial impressions
1. Cable Construction Very good. The cable feels & looks solid. Definitely designed to serve function over form.
2. Picture Quality vs. Component Video Excellent! Cannot upconvert to 720p/1080i without it! Colors are VERY deep & clarity is significantly better (even on SD 480i).
3. Bang for the buck EXTRAORDINARY…like many others, I bought an extra cable for back-up. Even the cheapest 10 HDMI cable that Wally-World sells is $35 dollars, without the ferrite cores or gold (corrosion-free) connectors! Will definitely make all future cable purchases from this seller!

The faceplate looks great, so for that, I give it a 5 out of 5 on looks. But as far as function, it’s only so-so. The little nub that’s suppose to transmit IR signals into the body of the 360, for the remote control, was both bent and poorly formed. This causes the 360’s Remote control to be rather hard to use. I now have to aim it VERY directly, or it won’t pick up the signal at all. If I didn’t like the look of the faceplate so much, I would have chucked it into the trash. But I put up with it. So my score is likewise, an “ok”, 3 out of 5.

Arrived today actually 1 day earlier then I thought. I immediately hooked it up and the picture was great. Using s-video before on my PS2 it was exactly what I expected. Now im going to purchase the fiber-optic cable for my surround sound system. The price is also better then what I expected compared to some of the other monster cables.
